North of the Low Horns the Organ Ridge loses its sharp identity. The Rabbit Ears Group consists of the three massive Rabbit Ears plus some small satellites to the north, which can be considered to be the continuation of the Organ Ridge, and a parallel spur of lower peaks to the west, the Rabbit Ears Towers. These are joined at the southern end by the high plateau of the Rabbit Ears Massif; between the two the Rabbit Ear Canyon runs down to its exit on the West Side. The approaches for the various climbs in this area are made from Topp Hut (or the Mine above it, when feasible) and are relatively short; thus this area is the most frequented and the richest in routes in the Organs.
