20. Nordspitz

This little peak, just north of Last Peak, marks the north end of the continuous part of the Organ chain, Beyond it, past five or six miles of the smooth hump of Baylor Peak and its outlying spurs, lies only the isolated stronghold of San Agustn Peak.

Approach as for Last Peak (Route 19a) and turn Last Peak on the west, or mount to it directly from the appropriate place in Rabbit Ears Canyon. Nordspitz can be climbed up its S or N Sides by essentially walking routes. A variety of easy 3rd Class routes can be found up the W Side.
